you know the one. Right in the solar plexus? The "loving so much it hurts" feeling? It literally does. It's visceral. Slightly panic inducing in it's intensity.. I think this is why Jesus expressed His compassion as coming from His "bowels". It's as deep as it gets. It's the feeling of your heart walking around by itself, as they say. It's how I feel every morning when I wave goodbye. This morning they were noticeably bigger, more grown up, we've moved to another level. It's beautiful and wonderful and right. The growing and developing and the thriving. They do it so well. But da-yamn it huuuuuurts. This little ditty encapsulates it well:

I understand your feelings. When I would leave Timber to do some running I would always think about her and at dog age of 13 I knew time was short. Hurts now that she is gone. Enjoy all the monents you can. That is what love is made of.
