May Day! May Day! 2010 Edition

The Manic Month of May begins with May Day. Which we actually missed due to 9 soccer games on the actual day. So on May 2nd we made our annual pilgrimage…Mayday

This sweet tiny fellow was hanging out at our front  door before we left. (The quality of my photos throughout this post are pretty bad. Not sure if it was the fact that I kept taking photos through dirty windows, the light or just my lazy mood.)  Forgive and forget…

The intense get away shots…

Some get-aways were more successful then others. We were caught during our delivery to our friend “Muss Cindi” and so we spent a delightful hour in her magical garden..isn’t it amazing?

We were “caught” once again at the next drop off so the kids got to play with their most adored playmate (who happens to be 18 months old). Joy! Impromptu get-togethers are usually the best kind, no?

It was a lovely way to bring in May.

I always look forward to your May Day pictures. It always looks like so much fun. One day I may be inspired to do it myself.

Do you think our little May Day visitors will come to Indiana? What am I to do???? It was funny because May 1 came and no May Day surprises...but I knew you had a full day and lo and behold! The very next day we got our surprise but really TURNIP SEEDS? What were you thinking? Oh, that's right...you gave the pretty flower seeds to someone who you actually thought would plant them. BUT EVEN AT THAT...TURNIP SEEDS THAT EXPIRED IN 2008!! We love you guys!!!

Joan you fail to mention we gave you excellent chocolate and beautiful paper flowers along with the expired turnip seeds....:P If you continue to be such a whiner, next year you will get nothing but brussel sprout seeds from 2004 (even if we have to mail them ):D :D The turnip seed packet was very pretty and in my world aesthetics are 9/10th of the law.

Maybe we'll start making May Day baskets now...for next year. It's the only way I think I could actually be prepared to deliver anything on time a year from now. Sheesh.
